In painting people I paint angels - the substance of the body is only a metaphor. In this simple way I have ennobled the mundanity of human existence, I have brought the human world one step closer to God’s, I have given hope.
Because every living creature - even those as perfect as angels are - stumble, fall, and pick themselves up.

Artur Trojanowski
Graduated from the Visual Education Faculty of the State School of Fine Arts (presently
the Academy of Fine Arts) in ?ód? in 1993.
He is a three-times finalist in the Picture of the Year competition organized by “Art & Business” magazine. He runs pleners and courses for deaf-mute children.
He lives in Lanckorona, where he builds log-houses.
Painting is his life’s passion - he paints a great deal, in large formats, on MDF plates, with acrylics, oils, spray-paint and varnishes.
